Let's just put it this way...I can't stand my PSP for wi-fi. No touchscreen + keyboard=terrible, and the memory fills up too quick("turn memory conserve ON").
I've been looking for something new but not too expensive. I want something that if possible I can install apps or access online downloads or use Youtube or Veoh. Something with good battery life is important. Size is not too important because the screen has to be big enough. Emulation is fun.

So far I've looked these things:
Nokia 770 internet table
UTStarcomm XV6700(HTC Apache.used to own one as a phone for a short time)
HP IPAQ 6515a, h4350, etc.
If a pocket pc doesn't have the built in keyboard, I could buy one for it(bluetooth, right?).
what would you say my best bet is?
thanks in advance.

How about the Archos Gen 5 devices? You'll have to buy the Opera browser plug-in for $30, bringing the total for the low-end configuration to $240, about $40 cheaper than the iPod touch.

Amazon.com: Archos 605 WiFi (4 GB): Electronics

The iPod Touch is perfect, but you said it's too expensive

The Nokia N800 seems perfect

or if you want to save even more money the older Nokia N770.

What about the 3G iPhone for $199? And I suppose you could grab an original iPhone for $150 or less pretty quick. It's the best mobile device I've ever used; many seem to agree.

1)I'm not looking for an mp3 player...I have a Cowon D2 and Sony A728
2) I don't need the PDA Functions.
