Hey guys,

I would like to ask you for an advice for getting a decent pair of on-ear portables for around the 40-50 pound mark in Europe.

I am tired of all my in-ear phones, and I would like to something different, I found the long ago released Audio Technica ATH-WM55 in my price range and saw some threads up in the forums, people seem to like them, and I also do, but as they seem a little bit old, maybe something better is now in the same price range?

Of course the Sennheiser PX100s and the other variants of it are in this price range, but I do not really like them (for my own reasons).

Thanks for any suggestions you could give.

Edit:

Found these:

seem pretty nice as welll.

JVC HA-S500 or HA-S400 folding on ear closed headphones.
There is the new HA-S680s, little over your budget, sold on eBay.

Thanks Mate, but boy do they look massive. I have my Sennheiser HD515s for non-portability. What's your opinion about the Audio-Technicas?

I am loking over at both S500 and S400, but the only one picture I found on a head of man, compared to the Audio-Technicas, looks to be massive.
