read other professional reviews and critique them.take the good and leave the bad and then come up with a personal "style" that is uniquely your own.
And don't ramble.If you lose the interest of the reader you are toast and it is also a good idea to try and conceive of any question about the article someone might have without having the actual device in front of them.you need to try and imagine every possible use and context in which the item could be used then actually do it and publish the results
Of course I don't really have a clue having written just one cheesy little review on the ASL UHC signature but that is how the rickmeister would do it.
