For about $35-$50 you can buy a Pelican waterproof case, which comes with, more importantly "pick and pluck" foam rubber, so you can, lay the headphones on the foam rubber, and using toothpicks, template a perfect cutout for your particular headphones, and then, just "pluck" out the foam rubber to make a perfect cutout that exactly matches your particular cans.
Or Otterbox.com makes very similar cases for pretty inexpensive prices, maybe a little less than Pelican.
How do the Otterbox and Pelican cases compare? I'm going to have to get one of them to carry around my Grados and or AKG's with my pcdp, radio and cds...

Hey immtbiker, which model Pelican case did you pick for your cans? Thinking of getting one to fit headphones, small headphone amp, and a pcdp. Thanks.

Cool, thanks I'll look into those. In fact, I've never actually worked with those pick/pluck foam ... could you explain more clearly?

The pick and pluck foam comes semi pre-cut in squares, so that you can design any cutout shapes you want to fit your headphones and amp/pcdp. The cover comes with an egg crate soundproofing type foam built in. (see pictures)

I have the 1300 model, but the 1400 or 1500 models, might better fit your needs.
