Normally I would just use the search function and do research myself, but since I've had a long week of finals I'm tired and figured I'd just ask you guys ><;

I'm more of a full size headphone guy, and know absolutely nothing about IEMs. However I've been finding recently that I've been using my iPod more often. As such, I figured I should invest in a moderately cheap pair of IEMs. I listen primarily to metal and trance. My standards are not that high for this, I just want to hear what people consider are the best for under 30$. Taking suggestions

Thanks

FYI, this is the wrong thread for IEMs.

LOL, I swear when I was making this thread I almost posted it in the Potable Source Gear subforum, but caught my mistake... and apparently I just ended up posting in another wrong subforum

Could a mod please move it?

Also, that 200v deal looks sweet, I'm probably gonna go for it. Thanks for the heads up.

Hows the fit on the 200v? I told my girl id get her some headphones and she has an iphone so these are perfect. Shes not too picky on sound, she would prefer they be comfortable and fit well. If not the 200v anyone got recommendations?

Fit is good, but I don't use the UE silicones, as they are too wide. I'd get a pack of the Sony hybrids ($10-12 on Amazon), which work much better. I use the mediums or larges, but they have some smalls and super smalls as well. So you can try the smalls that come with the 200vs, but the Sony hybrids are a good alternative. Of cuorse, they cost half as much as the phones almost. Doh! But the phones are a great iPhone deal.
