Hello. Consider waiting for Dunu DN-2000J, which should appear worldwide on June 10th, and should cost 350$ (which is about 320 euros, but of course taxes will cost too). I'm from Eastern Europe and I order audio things from Germany, because they have a great variety (a lot of what my local place doesn't have, and with great prices I think). I've been looking at amazon.de and ebay.de. I only base my choices on reviews and the only IEMs I've heard are the SoundMagic E10S I own.

I'm not advanced in this regard, but I'm throwing ideas. My research led me to believe I should wait for Dunu DN-2000J. At first I was thinking about Shures, but H20Fidelity thinks Dunu DN-1000/2000, Dunu Titan 1, Tenore, Fidue A83 are better than SE535 (also thinks SE846 is better, but it costs 800 euros at best (ebay.de)).

(see http://www.head-fi.org/t/497285/shure-se535-reviews-and-first-impressions-thread/3540)

Dunu DN-2000J from the reviews looks better than all of those mentioned by H20Fidelity (without considering SE846). I like what I read in Brooko's review.

I was also thinking about Sennheiser IE800 which costs 525 euros with shipping on ebay.de. I think I would've gotten these if only they had a detachable cable. It's just very important for me at this price point. People seem to be comparing these IEMs to HD800, and although for some it's too bassy (though I hear good things about the treble), it seems they are very good.

If you really want a detachable cable, Fidue A83 is very good from the reviews and compares well with Dunu's, even DN-2000J. But that is up to you to research. A problem I've found is that it might be tricky to get a good seal and isolation with, and may not be as comfortable, but it depends.

Look at this amazing multi-IEM review table by ljokerl: http://theheadphonelist.com/headphone-list/

I know nothing about CIEMs, because I'm not sure I can get ear impressions done where I live.

Edit: it seems DN-2000J may be a bit too bright with some signs of sibilance.
