I listen to all types of music, but i guess those are the styles I want to sound the best. Currenlty I have a pair of MDR-V600s. For now i'll be using the new ones with a stereo system and through the speaker jack of the computer speakers, though in time I'll get myself a HP amp.
I really like the AKG 501s cus they're veeeery comfy (tried em on at the store), especially compared to the Senn 580s (European, dunno if there's a physical difference). I also like the idea of them having such a large soundstage. Their price is about at the edge of what i'm willing to pay.
However, I have a feeling that they won't be warm enough for those music preferences...Is that correct? Would the 401s be any better?
Recommendations?
