I am about to purchase a iriver mp3player. probably the ifp 899 or the new t30.
I also need some good headphones, below 100$ and not to large and clumsy...
I have heard that they should be below 50 ohms in order not to drain the batteries of the player.

They will not be used for cycling and exercise but in planes trins busses and so on. Therefore they need to be closed.

I have heard a lot of good things about the AKG k26p. DOes anyone know if this goes on the ear og around them? is it anygood compared to sennheiser px200?

If the akg is no good i might go for beyerdynamic dt 231 or sennheisers hd 200.

finally i have considere the sennheiser 202 because of the great value for money it seems to be.

I will appreciate any comments you may have on the headphones above. What would be the best choise in terms of wuality, calue for money and portability?

Thanks

Three good options under $100 would be the Grado SR60 ($70), the Sen PX100 ($50), or Ety ER6i ($90).

I have the last two and they sound good out of an mp3, mostly due to thei low impedence (32 ohm and 16 ohm respectively).

Good luck.
