My Girlfiend needs some headphones for the bus, she has ear problems and can't use ear bud style headphones. She would like over the head style but they need to be a small profile and if they could fold up so she could fit them in her purse or something that would be great. Thanks for the help!

People are apparently big fans of the Search function here ^-^

Apparently the Sennheiser PX100s are popular and from my friend's PX200s I can attest they fold up and are pretty small, you might want to give those a try

igrado's, porta pros, both fold up nicely.

I'm going to get killed for this but she's a woman. They could care less about sound quality--yeah I know some appreciate it but most will just buy the 'b' word and not care.

So, find some cheap-o pair that fold for $10 to $20. Spend the rest of the $50 on beer, pizza and pron.

needs some headphones for the bus Wouldn't she want closed headphones? As she's only going to use them on the bus?

I tried the AT ONTO's in Japan, liked them, and bought them.
However, they don't isolate well at all.
They do a good job of not messing up your hair though.
Sound is pretty good for what they are: not much bass, but decent mids, and balanced highs...but not esw9's by any means.

Oh, and they look cool. I got them for 2300 yen or about $25

PX100 if she likes mainstream music and bassy.

ON3 if she needs loudness and looks (Use them as partial speakers and doesn't mind no isolation)

iGrado for the classic rock lovers who kind of care for looks

Portapro for the people who don't care for looks but love rock.

Senn HD218/228/238 might be an option if you're a good deal hunter. I tried the HD238 and it's the equivalent of the QC3, minus isolation (Side by side @ The Grove's Apple Store in LA)
