I currently own a pair of Koss PortaPros and Grado SR60s, and I love them both (especially the Grados), but 'upgradeitis' as some people call it, has struck.

While I don't have the money to spend at the moment, I'm still interested in auditioning more headphones to be able to judge them for myself and see what I like and don't. (reading reviews here is fine and dandy, but I'd like to actually get to listen to various types of headphones myself instead of just readin about others who have listened to them).

Anyways, my question is does anyone know of any good headphone dealers in the Toronto area where I can physically walk in and listen?
The only one I know of is Bay Bloor Radio, (which carries various models from Sony, Panasonic, Bose, Denon, AKG, Sennheiser, and Grado), where I got my SR60s from. (I got the PPs from Futureshop, which is the Canadian equivalent of Best Buy.)

BBR is fairly far from me, and it's way over-priced.

With the current exchange rate, some of the prices approximately work out to (in US dollars):

SR60 - $94
SR80 - $123
SR125 - $180
SR325 - $324

So, does anyone know of any places in my area that have good 'phones (I'm mostly interested in Senns and Grados, but I'm curious about the Eggos, Etys, and a few others that are mentioned a lot here, as well)?
Or is there any way for me to look up dealers?

Thanks.

Have yet to find one...
Ordering off the internet is much more convenient, anyway.
And to audition, well, we need to set up a meet

not real familiar with toronto but here are some websites of stores in ottawa - if you feel like making the trip.

www.audioshop.on.ca - Grados
www.passionforsound.com - Beyers
www.ozenterprises.net - AKG and Sennheiser

like trounce said, why dont you TO guys get together for a meet and that way people can listen to all the different cans

we had a pretty successful one in ottawa a few weeks ago...got to hear some stax and some HD600s with upgrade cables, Grado HP1

check the meet forum...

Bay Bloor is way overpriced, plus, they don't carry any Etys, Beyerdynamics, any sort of electrostatics (not that I could afford them, but I'd still like a listen) etc...
