New Head-Fier
Hello, I am a novice here and am looking for headphone amp recommendations at around max. $1300. I already have a high quality DAC, so I would just need the amp. I have read numerous reviews, postings, and comparisons and get more and more confused the more I read. My list includes Burson Soloist, Vioelectric V200, Aurelic Taurus MKII, Woo Audio WA7 (although this has a DAC), and Linear Tube Audio MZ2. Are there any other specific recommendations by the experts here? Which one would be the "best" sounding (I know that this is quite subjective) and has the best price performance ratio? Should I rather go with tube or solid-state amps?
