I'm looking for a good gaming headset that isn't too expensive. I don't want to spend more than $50-$60.

Haha, nooo not those. They have absoluetly no soundstage or positioning. They sound pretty bad too >_< .

just buy the mic separately would be my suggestion.

look for a plantronics headset. I had one and they're pretty good with sound stage.

well i'm not 100% with you, but they do get criticized for the heavy bass. but i'v put them against a 2 Sony rivals, technics and M.O.S. headphones, and the sennheiser always came out on top, regardless of the heavy bass. the nearest to them was the Technics.

Yeah, go with a sperate mic if you want to get quality sound out of your headphone.. at least it would be easier that way.

Don't listens to the gaming noobs jk, you should really look into something like a Sennheiser HD485. They go for around $60-70. They don't need an amp, have good soundstage and bass. They are open BTW so if you need the isolation of closed cans then I'd look elsewhere.
