Hello,

I like to record my voice and use these records to study before I go to sleep. Usually I will make summaries of my own voice with my Rode NT-USB microphone.

Now however I am looking for portability and I was looking into digital voice recorders. I do not want something that is to expensive. 100 dollars is about my limit.

But do you guys know a good one? As I tried to see some reviews but cannot really find a good one and I do not know much about this technology.

Thanks for the help!

How about a text to speech app so it's transcribed? The android app I use is called Voice Recorder by Recorder & Smart App for just regular recordings. It works well and there's a free version to try first.

I've used the Aiworth Digital Voice Recorder a couple of times to record. An inexpensive option, it was ideal for me at that time. In general, I sometimes neglected studying. I was just looking for apa outline example, found https://papersowl.com/blog/apa-research-paper-outline for myself. Many people understand that sometimes they are too lazy to do something. We have to look for different options to get out of the situation.
I figured out what you mean. Olympus VN-541PC is not a bad option at all.

great choice, love the Olympus series for these my self, the 100$ one from office depot is probably one of my saddest pieces of lost tech. they are hard to find now.

There are a few features different bvetween the 60 and 100 dollar range. the most important being typically the lower one uses a chord for charge and transfer, and has a larger inbuilt speaker for play back. The higher one has play back through stereo and headphone, and inbuilt usb stick that slides out. really a lifestyle choice at that point untill you get into mic differences.

Sony recorders are pretty dependable with good mics. You could save $20 and get the ICD-PX470 -- looks like the only difference with the ICD-PX570 is that it takes replaceable AAA batteries instead of a built-in rechargeable, which I actually find preferable because you can always pop in new batteries.

you can definitely pick that one up at $60, I was choosing between sony's line up in person. Definitely a solid choice - larger speaker than the 570, double A's ,so rechargeable but arguably less environmentally friendly.
I am not sure if the 470 is capable, but the 570 can be used as an interface as well, but with both devices you can tap the headphone jack out of your interface.

edit to add:
also meant to say the housing on the 570 is superior, in feel.
