Hey. My 1st post in this forum.
I'm no audiophile. No amps. Simply an MP3 player and headphones.
While looking for headphones for the range of $100-200, I ended up running into some person selling their boxed ultrasone dj1 phones for $45! Needless to say, I snatched em up and am waitin for em as I speak.
While browsing for headphones, I noticed wut looked like a pretty decent deal. I noticed that some1 was selling brand new hd515 headphones for $40. It aint as rare as getting barely used dj1s for $40 but it seems like a solid deal. My lil cuz wants new phones and I haven't told him I'm lookin to buy him a pair.
I know the hd515s sell for around $75-80 and they aren't all that impressive in comparison to some other phones for the under-100 price bracket. I also know they don't sound like the hd555s. In essence, for over $75, they aren't good.
However, my lil cuzin has an Iriver h10 6gb mp3 player and was currently using a pair of useless lowend philips phones that cost like $20 retail. I'm assuming this should be a significant improvement.
For $40, are these phones worth it? I assume so.
