Or headphones, but I would also need a noise cancelling microphone, in that case (attachable, not a desktop microphone). I am going to a LAN tournament soon, with many people around, so it will be loud. My budget is around $200 and they have to be closed, to make sure I don't hear much. Unfortunately, my HD598 wont cut it at a LAN.

I was thinking about the Sennheiser PC350, but if there is anything better out there... I just want something thats decent sound quality (doesnt have to be the best, as long as things are clear and not muffled from either the cans or mic) with good positioning and very comfortable. I would like something that isnt hard to drive.

Thanks.

Someone recommended me the A900x, what do you guys think?

I currently have the HD598, how do they compare? I am not looking for something better than my HD598, but rather something good for the price. Again, it will be for gaming mostly. I may use them for music too only during the time it gets noisy in my dorm (Unless they are actually better than my HD598, then I would use them full time)...

Or is there something that would be better for my budget?

I'm fairly new here but I currently use the Sennheiser PC350. The Mic is amazing, the actual sound quality is decent but it has next to no bass. The audio is quite clear and flat. I am actually looking for a better pair of cans and I saw the Beyerdynamic DT770's and fell in love. A friend of mine has them and highly recommends them, they have good bass and clear mids, if that gives you an idea.

I heard the PC350 are not that good for the price. They are 150$ right now, after tonight the price will go back up to 220$. The A900x headphones are 190$. I don't know how they compare though. I don't know if the price of the A900x is worth it, or even the PC350. Usually "gaming" headset are bad but I have no idea if its actually worth the price.

The AKG K550 might be a better choice for FPS gaming, the A900X is more a musical headphone.
Harmanaudio (AKG) sells refurbs, with factory warranties, on eBay.
My winning bid was $180.
