I'm waiting on my HD-600 and MG head to arrive. I want to know what would be a good CD-player to use with it. Right now I'm planning on using my computer for everything but decided to also look into a dedicated CD-player too. I plan to spend around $300-$400 for a cd player if I get one. Thanks.

You should consider Cambridge Audio D500SE, NAD 521-541 or some of the Sony SACD players.

I agree! But, if you are one of those that think the HD-600 are dark you might want to check into Marantz, or Yamaha. Good luck!

Anyone wouldn't know how the NAD C541i compares to the Cambridge Audio D500SE? Those CD-players look the most interesting to me.

I wouldn't recommend the denon 370. I used to have that exact combo...it sounded waaaay too warm and veiled. I would recommend that you find a decent CD transport, and connect it to an Art DI/O. A DI/O combo would beat most of the CDP's listed here IMHO.
