I'm going to Washington DC from the 12th-18th March (for work) then NYC from the 18th-21st March. I'm only going to have a short amount of time to do some site seeing, shopping etc. so i need to figure out what to do there. I have been to NYC and DC once before, in 1998, so I have been to most of the major attractions.

Do you have any ideas as to what I can do, see or buy while I'm there?

Are there any events worth going to during those dates?

I'm staying around dupont circle in DC and I get there on Sunday. Are there any audio shops around there?

Re: DC - It's been awhile since I've been there, but, I seem to recall an audio shop near P, off of Connecticut near Dupont Circle. It's not far from Second Story Books. There's also Soundworks in Maryland. The Red line goes near there if you have time.

Re: NY - What sort of things interest you? Not knowing you, I've no idea to tell you what to buy or see...
