Lazy day and played around with primary set of TWS

A few comments :

A) Aurvana Ace 2, Soundcore LP4 and Oppo stand very well within this crowd.

B) Huawei FBP4 are a great device and far better in my IMO than Apple Pro 2 and Samsung BP3 Pro. Careful Apple and Samsung are great if you are looking for no set up and good out of the box.

C) Most equalizer work on LG Tone 90s and Final Audio ZE8000 MK2

D) Most benefitted by tip swapping Sony MK05, Montblanc-03 and Samsung BP3 Pro.

E) B&O Eleven, B&W PI8, Beyerdynamic Amiron 300 , Sennheiser MTW4 and M&D 09 are good options if you have the cash. ANC on B&O ,B&W and Sennheiser do the trick with great sound tuning. But if you are using for phone calls stick to the TWS listed on A and B.

F) Still trying to get a handle on the Cambridge M100.

G) Audio Technica feel dark .

H) Prefer the Pixel Buds Pro to the newer Pro 2. I think is just the shape. But tuning has definitely change .

I) The old Samsung GBP2 are way better for me than the GBP3

Well that is it for now, dealing with my wife and her concern on this addiction 😑

I see there is a gap in the lower right corner where the Rex5 should be, no?

Somewhat interested in in what Truthear can cook up.

They have a special acrylic 3D machine but I'd be more interested in an item that looks more like the Hexa.

For a basshead who loves the bass of Momentum 4, as an an upgrade do you recommend the B&W PX8 or PX7 S2e? Or neither of them will deliver such bass?

I picked up a second clearance sale GBP2. I’ve been watching and reading comments saying exactly what you said. The 2’s are preferred over the 3’s.. Thanks for the effort you put into this 👍

The Momentum 4s has a wider sounstage and also better bass. They sound much better in every aspects than the Px8s. The only advantage of the Px8s is the premium materials and solid built.

Interesting...
Looking at the various AZLA tips, the ASMR tips explain why i am liking the Sony Hybrids very well on the JBL Live Buds 3

"In addition, by adjusting the opening of the earpiece and intentionally attenuating the treble range from the earphone nozzle, focusing on the depth and depth of the medium to medium and high ranges, and the right amount of bass! This allows you to change the sound position into a comfortable sound, and optimize the sound of your earbuds to ASMR or games that emphasize your sense of position."

The Hybrids similarly narrow the opening at the top which does the same thing.

Tempted to try the ASMR but to get large I have to but the 3 pack sampler for $50 in Canada which is just silly since the Hybrids are essentially the same thing.

The AZLA Crystal for the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro actually look like they have the same nozzle design as the JBL, so would another option. I can get large for $20 so am going order a pair of those to see they work. I lose the wax guard but think I am OK as my ear wax isn't bad.
