I also have the jbl tour pro 3 so can help answer some of those questions.

. The case will act as a auracast broadcast for whatever it's connected to. For example connect the case to a computer playing a YouTube video and then set the case to broadcast mode.
Any auracast compatible devices can then pick up the signal ( you can also password protect the signal)

. For me personally ANC is up there with Sony and bose in particular frequencies. I personally switched to the azla max tws which improved ANC a little too. The buds also come with foam tips for better passive isolation if required.


They respond really well to eq changes but I'm no expert ( wait for someone else to answer in this regard), but I'm pretty happy with the default studio sound. And for once spatial audio works well with jbl (when using game mode).

*you also appear to get high res playback when connecting the case to a phone directly but no custom eq

Thanks for the info. I was pretty sure I had read real positive feedback about them before, but to be honest, JBL have never been on my radar, so it's nice hearing it from multiple sources.

May look in to them after Christmas.

I think it might be good that I can't afford the REX5 now. It sounds like the software is going through some growing pains.

Did you swipe on the bar near the button settings? See that ^? Swipe up. It's not obvious that you can do that, but there is a little rocket ship below the ^.

Great wind noise suppression and phone mic quality too. Plus multi-point. Transmitter puts them over the top as the best all-rounder.

Best all rounder without a doubt. Agreed.
But I find the noise gating on calls a bit too strong in noisy environments, sometimes cancelling my own voice. They can fix this with an update though.
The ability to switch and pair new devices via the case is so useful though

Really weird regarding the Noble App for Apollo and Rex5, it will not update the devices via my S24 however it updates without issue via my Fiio M23

Samsung is tightening security around apps. Wonder if that has something to do with it.
