How’s is the sound on b and o 11 ? I might have to consider trying that because they have stems rex-5 absolutely best sounding tws I heard to date . They re hugeee for my small ears 😢 I tried all kinds of tips no luck still hurts
Let me know what do you think sound on b&o if you gonna have time from listening Rex-5 lol
The EX a slight upgrade, but probably not worth it for most people. ANC and transparency mode is definitely better and then the EX. Tuning is slightly better, but I could be hearing things. I’m happy with the purchase but the price difference between the EX and the 11 may not be worth others to upgrade.

I think you’re gonna have to try stuff out to see what fits. Seeing the photos of the shape of your ear, you might have a hard time with some of these.

Hard to determine bang per buck on these units. Some have multiple off the shelf Chinese drivers, while B&W has a single fully custom Carbon nano driver. It’s all about delivering realistic sounding orchestra instruments to me.. Yep, the older I get, the more I gravitate to classical music 😀
I dont know what it is but B&W always gives me that natural sound. Even the Gemini II, although great, dont sound as organic to me. Its odd.

Let’s say if I m on a plane how will sound blocking purposes work like isolation etc also I drive a lot during the day any conditions water blocking performances from ciem and adapter ? Looks like tws with stems I have better luck cause they re much smaller on top pi8 did very good job with size for I am having no issues with nothing ear since they have design with stems and they do not come from my ears
Looks like paying a lot money for ciem and adapter better for indoor use office work ?
I am definitely going go try bo 11 they have stems also
Since fitment seems to be your biggest issue, if I were you I would go with what sounds very good to you, call it a day and be happy, because you might be chasing a unicorn at this point, all things being considered.

I'll save you the trouble, no one in their right mind would use a CIEM at work unless they are that weird guy no one wants to talk to. It's extremely inconvenient and fragile, water will totally wreck it. You also can't hear a thing with them in, any time someone talks to you will be a huge hassle to remove.

If the Planar driver is the super small device sitting in front of the DD, I'd be surprised if it's adding much volume to the sound. Of course if it's not doing anything, then why even have it included. I noticed it's the same size in the Aviot. Scratching my head here...

Looks like a 10mm/6mm combo driver there. The piece can be a wiring harness and bracket that has the charge contacts in it and goes down to connect the BA's. If the sizing is accurate that doesn't seem to be a 6mm driver. Also the 6mm "micro" planars I have seen so far are round.

I’m not having any issues with both the Rex5 and Eleven
@erockg at 10 percent coupon arrived in my inbox from B&O. Are they worth it?
If you liked the EX, these are same but with better ANC and transparency mode. Slight upgrade in tuning (maybe). Love the silver. Worth the cost? To me, because I like the latest and greatest, yes. To others prob not. Been using and enjoying them today for calls and music. No issues.

My 2 cents. I tried today at the B&O store. Beautiful, lightweight, fit well and sounded good.
The sales person said ANC improvement and mostly everything else is the same.

Thanked him and left. Rex5 has more oomph. The 11 is Svanar sounding. 1 vs 5 driver sound?

I have not spent a lot of time with the Rex5.
(Which I intend to remedy soon)

However, I’m thinking an apropos nick name is T~Rex 🦖 !!! Holy Crap 🤟🏼
