Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?

The Perl Pro and the XM5’s complement each other; Sony does mid to high frequency better, while the Denon’s are all about the low to midrange. Denon reminds me of the HD-600, very clear mids. Both are excellent and were bargain’s (heck a steal) at their BF prices 👍

No, can't say I do. But I'm am spoiled with the soundstage of my IEMs, the likes of Traillii and Mest3.
Do you use standard tips?
Yes, I use the standard tips, not sure what other tips would be compatible with the tips connection on the QCE. To me, QCE IS THE largest sound stage I've ever heard, even for wired iems standards. It's uncanny. Although I'm not updated on current trending TOTL iems, I have heard several from years ago. So, I do not know how big Traillii or Mest3 sound stage is.

I really have doubts that this huge sound stage I'm hearing is any sort of bias or placebo. Bose is not a brand I've ever cared about, and do not care for their full sized products, but these bulky QCE products they put out at least hit it with me with the sound stage aspect. When I first hear it, it has sound stage like full sized headphones.

I'm not even sure what I'm hearing is different due to ear anatomy since we are talking about sound that's going through in ear, there is no ear shape effects which do actually change perception of sound stage. Any difference we hear is through the ear canal shape, which I always thought attributes to tonality in terms of how harsh or laid back certain frequencies sound because our ears canal shapes can resonate or emphasize certain frequencies.

However, we do get experiences of larger or smaller sound stage through in ear, which is quite interesting. I wonder how this actually works.

To me, the sound stage and imaging to the extent is there, and if the resolution and treble quality is up there, it would be ideal.

Get the Hifiman Svanar for $249. Save $150. They are better... today. YMMV
The funny thing I got the pi8 overall anesthetic and luxury look case design good some caveats like if you receive a call etc something you lose connection you have to re pair and if you walk from your case few feet and come back you also don’t reconnect like most tws do automatically and yes I personally think very harsh highs and I tried all kinds of eq
Price and sound quality even without any any app sea ar is better and yes 150$ less
Swanar I had to return one because of technological caveats like sensors bad they get pressed by wind and one bad wasn’t getting charged I got bad unit but with comply tips oh man what a sound

If anyone still has the GB3Pro I see Azla released some eaetips that seem to be a little bit bigger. I'll receive mine Monday.
On another note, I keep putting the PI8 in my cart but I see reviews here and else where of harsh highs, is this true? I really don't need another pair but as some have mentioned there is a itch that needs scratching.

Pi8 has good sound but if you are looking for neutral balanced overall sound I don’t think they have that sound profile , it’s my personal opinion of course but very good quality tws and good sound it should be comfortable for most also
I have to rethink this after getting third party tips sound is actually pretty intense overall balanced very good sound lots of detail and this is on flat eq

I enjoyed the way you attributed how we seem to hear differently. It's as though the ear canal acts as an extension cone of the speaker, which can affect the final product of resonance received by the ear drum, and how the ear drum vibrates in turn depicts how the ossicles amplify the sound, to be received in the cochlea.

So in essence, the reverberation occuring between the speaker and the ear drum, due to the shape/diameters/size of our canals could be the answer to why we may also perceive soundstage differently, due to what the vibration the ossicles are amplifying. Super interesting!

In-ears bypass a large aspect of our hearing by going directly into the canal, which could explain why we have such varying opinions on the same products.

Late to the party, but I just got the QCY MeloBuds Pro (26$ from AliEx) and they are everything I had hoped the Nothing Ear (a) to be. As much as I liked the Nothing Ear, I had a fit issue which I do NOT have with the QCY. It might be subjective, but the ANC feels stronger and way more customizable, the app experience is top notch. Even enjoying the ‘spacial’ Mcguffin … now I just need to test them for running.

1000€ feels a bit much for something you cant service and you just toss out when the battery dies.
