Gilmore V2 vs PPA for HD600

I only know these amps from reading about them on this forum. Which one would you suggest for HD600?

Btw how do cables affect the sound? Is it really a lot or just a marginal difference?

I'd look into the Gilmore Lite /w PS for the Senn 600. It's forward midrange really helps the 600's withdrawn character by pulling it up a few rows. The PPA is very clean but should otherwise not really change the Senn character. Cables are the last line in character modification, its minor but its where you go when you're happy and want that last %5 of improvement. Moving the overall sound towards something or another.
