Hi all,

Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but . . .

Does anyone know how to get rid of the automatic pauses that itunes places in between tracks? In some of the classical pieces I listen to one track is supposed to run right into the next seamlessly on the original CD recording. But when converted to my ipod each track is separated by a pause artificially inserted by Itunes. Is there a way to get rid of these pauses so that the tracks are connected like they're supposed to be?

thanks,

ooka

if your talking about on your ipod, there is no way to remove the pause. you can rip all the tracks as one long track, but that is less than ideal. you can install rockbox, but that may be too much of a hassle for you.

The ipod doesn't support gapless playback. There are 2 workarounds though: 1) rip the entire cd as one long track; 2) install rockbox on your ipod.
