Hi folks 😊

I have just got an iPhone 15 Pro Max, I also have the following headphones which I’ll be using

Sony MDR-7506 (63 Ohms)

Sony MDR-V55 (40 Ohms)

Beyerdynamic DT770 PRO (32 Ohms)

I’m wanting to get a DAC for my iPhone,

which would you go for out of the Fiio KA5 or the iBasso DC06??

Would these easily drive any of my headphones, or would the phone be powerful enough to drive them easily ?

Stick with the Apple adapter, it'll power those well if it's the U.S. version. I have one and use it for all kinds of headphones when I travel since it's so tiny.
Hmmm.
I'm running the iPhone 15 Pro Max.
I have the USB connect and listening via Dita Project Ms.

In the US, there's a 'hearing safety' option where I can reduce the volume of listening via headsets.
Not sure if that's in the UK or why it would be different unless they mandate that you listen to your headphones at 80db or lower... (which would be weird. )

I also use it on my Macbook Pro. (I'm too lazy to take it off, plus I know it will end up getting misplaced. )
In terms of DACs, I'm looking at the Dita Navigator (Keeping w the Dita theme), Onix Alpha Xi1, Mojo2, but each has their issues.
(For the Alpha, there currently isn't a US distributor, but for iPhone and M chip based Macs... seems to work well.)

Note that dongle dacs, you can drain the battery where battery DAP/DACs don't have that issue. The tradeoff is portability.
The Mojo2 w Poly could also be a home based 'portable' if I wanted to sit down somewhere and do some reading and listen to music. And use my phone's hotspot to stream over wi-fi to the Mojo/Poly. But still $1300 USD is not cheap.

So I'm leaning towards the Alpha... for $128 may be worth any risks.

Still open to suggestions.
