Glad to inform you that the delivery of BTR3 to the worldwide sales agents has resumed, after being out of stock for a short period. Go and check with local sale agent regarding its availability at: https://www.fiio.com/wheretobuy

Another good news is that we’ve made a new firmware based on the market feedback, with the following changes and improvements:

1. Amended the USB DAC detection to automatic (no need to click the power button)

2. Fixed the issue where the power consumption is high when idle standby

* We are still working on the compatibility between the FiiO Music app and the BTR3, hope it will be available soon.

If your BTR3 is not with the latest firmware, go and get it upgraded. Happy listening!

Hello, I got the BTR3 delivered today.
I've read about a built-in equalizer but I don't know how I can access it.
The FiiO Music app I have also loaded but there is also no option for the equalizer.
Can you possibly tell me how to access the equalizer?

Dear friend,

The EQ function haven't been added for the BTR3 in FiiO Music. We will add it in later APP update.

How do you get out of DFU mode. Drivers failed on Windows 7. Can't do anything with the device...Also, there is no exe in the zip. I should've reviewed the contents before doing this but i was waiting for the BTR3 to arrive and i downloaded these files days ago.

I was able to get out of DFU mode but the issue of no .exe still exists within the file in the link above.

Hi
I use the BTR3 as a USB DAC on my Huawei Mate RS.
The built-in AK4376A DAC is not to be underestimated.
I have searched for the specs on the homepage of AKM and it is described with 32 bit and 384 khz.
Since the BTR3 is only described with 24 bit and 96 khz I want to ask you how the actual performance in the USB DAC operation is.

Dear friend,

When working as USB DAC, the BTR3 can support up to 48kHz/16bit.

Dear friend,

You would need to enter the 'how to update' link and download the update tool(click here) first.

May I ask if there will be a firmware for Mac user sometime soon? I would assume that there is enough mac user here to justify the need of it.

thx!
Dear friend,

The update tool doesn't have a MAC version currently. :frowning2: You could try a Windows computer for help instead.

Best regards

Before updating the firmware on my BTR3 I was able to use it as a DAC with my Windows 10 machine with no problems.
After the update, the BTR3 connects however I cannot get any sound through my headphones.

I am also finding the Bluetooth connection experience slight skipping every 10-15 seconds when I'm ou and about. I have tried with the BTR3 right next to my Pixel XL (OG) and still experience the same skipping. Hoping further firmware updates are able to improve the connection issue.

Cheers

Dear friend,

Have you turned on the BTR3 when connecting to the computer as a DAC?

Best regards
