Get Ready to Experience 6 Amazing Products

You know what looks bad about Kadenz ? The price. it is 2024, and a real lot of IEMs are out there which reach the level of qualit of Kato for a lot less than 100USD. Kadenz is a bit refined Kato, so trying to sell it for the same price is ... not wise. IEM market evolved in the last 3 years.

Please reconsider how much you ask for it.
And no, I am not negotiating ofr myself to get it cheaper: I will not pay more than 90USD for it.
I think that’s why they give the USB-C DAC and a 3.5mm adapter in the box along with the classic “Kato package”…honestly it doesn’t seem like a bad deal. I’m not really happy about the tip selection though…

If you use one of these in the Discdream 2 Ultra's multifunctional port it turns into a regular Toslink optical out.

I hope that this time around the DiscDream will be easy to purchase. I never found the first gen one available for sale over an entire year...
Same here: ordered the OG DiscDream in Sep 2023, was “shipped” (with tracking number) in Jan 2024 but never showed up… with only BS excuses until I “transformed” my order into a Moondrop Para (even paid the price difference in full).

I have multiple Moondrop products and like them, but DiscNightmare 2…? No, sorry Moondrop, zero credibility.

we're proud to introduce the M4P-MTM professional desktop passive monitoring speaker. It comes with an Al-Mg alloy dome treble, dual four-inch mid-bass, large-size phase inversion, and utilizes MTM acoustic structure to provide a flat response, low distortion, and high off-axis performance.
What is a “large-size phase inversion”?

I just got the discdream 2 ultra yesterday and I would say I like the aluminum finish of it. Although I haven't really used it much, it can power up some of my IEMs and HPs well.

Edit: I'll try to update this post for some impressions after I listen it for hours.

Sadly, I tried and it doesn't work. Basically it can only play cds or use it as a dac via pc mode.

Bahhh they should figure this out with firmware update @MOONDROP
I do not think they will add a feature to use discdream as a CD-ROM, since it's sole purpose is to be a portable cd player and a dac. But that is a huge plus if they do. I am actually looking forward for that as well. :)

So far, I am impressed though on how well it performs. It seems like there is anti-skip feature (via performing taps and hitting lightly via palm to hand) as well as shuffle/repeat feature.

Shanling is releasing a product that doubles as a computer disc drive. It will be around the same price as the DiscDream Ultra.
Why not just put it into the Disc Dream? I love the idea of the product it’s just missing one final aspect? All the material (hardware) is there for it to be a disc reader!

I’m not saying Moondrop shouldn’t…I am saying that if Moondrop won’t there is still an accessible alternative which offers the option. Also, it is not as simple as it looks…Shanling does the ripping on device and can save the result on a SD drive, if the DiscDream doesn’t have the right hardware on board that wouldn’t be possible…not having that details about that makes it hard to evaluate and just using it as a USB disc drive might require more work and some R&D. Surely it would be interesting to here more about this topic from Moondrop…

Oh right yeah I did notice Shanling after I posted heh. This would be a killer if they did; would replace my current external disc drive
