Thoroughly enjoying FFVII Remake with these. Realistic 3D sound with clarity and plenty of oomph. The Aria gives a tad too much in the explosions where these don't.
Mentioning my favourite game,

me Geek! Best OOB performance by an iem in a long time and after 3 hrs I ordered a second set for friend or fiend! Very balanced sound without masking of meds or treble shrillness. Coveys emotions in music as good as 500$ or better sets an absolute gift at 45$ despite plastic build. Will upgrade cable soon and hear which way the sound goes! Bravo DS for this Rec. It will make many audiophiles go Nuts!
D'accord !.....so glad your enjoying them. Burn-in is fairly quick - the stage becomes more spherical over time. My second pair shipped yesterday - so I'm excited about receiving blue to accompany red (hearts entwined.). I'll buy another cable for the blue & will be writing a review in a few weeks (- purely because I love the Geeks so much.) ...Kudos goes out to Ds...my quest to realise just how good high-end gear sounds - has now been achieved. (- plus my wallet breathes a huge sense of relief !...win-win !!)

Upgrading my source for the Geek Wold GK10 to the iFi Hip-Dac 4.4mm, TRi through, really takes the GK10 to the edge. Treble is genuinely exciting and on the Sibelius Violin Concerto, Philarmonia, Adrian Justus violin, the whole piece becomes very dramatic. Staging becomes more 3D and the GK10's become very high end. $45's of Alchemical magic. The impact of Wolf Totem by The HU (reccd by @Slater....hope he is OK), is on the right side of the 'edge'. Phew, this IEM is a genuine Chameleon. Some magician has waved his wand over these.

Is anyone else having trouble connecting the cables on the gk10.
Today I got mine as well (red, ali, penon).
And there's not any trouble with connectors, they definitely on the tighter side, but after some pressure they "clicks" and stays on place.

Completed cross-reference of GK10 against Grade A and up IEMs:
Conclusion: GK10 is the first sub $100 IEM to hit 85/100 (A) in my reference list

4 graphs, all 4 look different.

That is strange but it just goes to fuel my conviction that graphs should not be bothered with on their own until after someone has heard an IEM.

I often don't relate to his impressions or the way he describes what he's hearing so this does little to stem my excitement. YMMV and all that. I should have my set by Monday so will be able to see for myself if they live up to the hype or not. Either way it's only $50-- I have ear tips I paid more for than this IEM.

I've been listening it for a last few hours.
And it seems to have little too much of mid-bass presence there. Compared to the Legacy9 (one of the most bassiest I have) it has more mid-bass and less sub-bass. Mids doesn't feel that recessed, but it definitely not flat. A little pick around 5k and a lot of air. Overall in my case it pretty balanced in terms of levels, and signature seems to be most close to what BGGAR posted.

I will add AST later, as well as CCZ Plume this weekend👍 I don’t have GS Audio IEMs yet, the ST10 is incoming, and if any sense of tuning makes sense, I may try some other IEMs of GS audio

Is anyone else having trouble connecting the cables on the gk10.

Right channel was ok, but difficult to get in first time. Left channel won't go in more than say 2-3 mm leaving half of the pins exposed :frowning2:

I've got red face plates, from penon via AliExpress.
Could be a bit tight. I would take the cable out make sure your pins are straight. You might have to force them in a bit more than your used to. It should fit all the way in. I remember the first time I put in the stock cable it was a bit tight. Make sure you get a good grip with the housing make a fist holding it real well and press firmly. Could be all it takes. If it dont fit at all you can message Penon and tell them the issue.
