When I saw that graph from HBB. I was left scratching my head. It sounds nothing like that graph.. If it sounded like that. That would be tragic. Lol.
Red, Penon,
Grey, HBB

if the different is "only" on treble or bass,
then it is a insertion/calibration/variations,

but here it is like a two different sets,

I think the vertical scale is a bit off for the Penon graph. The difference between the low at 800 Hz and high at 3.5kHz is less than 10dB I think.

I WOULD put stock in the graph. It's what it's graphing right before your eyes and BGGAR graphs lots of IEMs with no issues. The real question has to be if he has a bad set or if there is a lot of set variation with this rollout or in general poor QC which as we all know is a very real thing.
It would be a pity if this potential vfm benchmark iem is derailed by quality issues. Hopefully Geek Wold and Penon are paying attention to QC... as they should. We'll hold Penon to their FR chart

Does anyone have a graph of this IEM against the Sf MT300? I've liked every tribrid I've owned more than any other IEM, and I'm wondering if the Geek Wold is worth owning since I have the MT300.

I just sold off everything except two cheap KZs that aren't worth the trouble (and sound good, and work great for Zoom), a DQ6, and an MT300. Portable DAC, amp, and DAC/amp, Spring 1, NX7, Tin T2 and T4, all gone. I'm actually happier this way.

But I'm curious about this one.

Don't think that graph exists currently.

What would be your source for the GK10?

Would probably sound pretty good then! Any idea of the output impedance on it?

Gk10 received.
How light they are ... But the fit is good.
Out if the box and with rhyme cable, they sound balanced, without any peak.
Vocal jazz sounds good.
And there are good basses and sub basses on rock music.

Now it's burning time

Mine will arrive today as well. I'll share my initial impressions. I just hope there won't be any issue with the units I have.

Geek Wold GK10

Mine are in my ears right now, about an hour and a half. Going to give them time for Brain Burn-In and Empirical Burn-In. Very initial noticings.....Piezo tweeters are already excellent, really well implemented and are crystal clear. I like that immediately. Trying to really spread the tracks. All I Need, Radiohead is a good test of treble as is The Old Triangle, Bert Jansch. Riverside, Agnes Obel vocal, Ornette Coleman, Tears Inside. Bass is slightly starting to open up as the DD's get some exercise. I now need time to really let the drivers do their thing. I have a Tri Through 4.4 cable, L Spiral Dots and listening to Tidal (UAPP) on my HiBy R5. I will use the Shozy Form 1.1 (similar price) and the LZ A7 (similar driver set) to assess.

You will gain less subbass,
more body to the vocal,
less female upper range vocal energy,
a bit less sparkle up top,

an overall less fatiguing sound.
