I'm considering a gear upgrade.
Current setup:
Fiio x3ii, E12diy, tfz exclusive 5 w/comply tips, JBL synchros 500s
I have an opportunity to purchase an X5ii and I like the upgrade in storage there. Will there be a noticeable difference in listening quality between the two fiio players with, and or without, the amp?
I’m very happy with the exclusive 5s so much so they make me think the full sized headphones may be a weak point in the setup.
My main listening is about 75% classical, flac files.
I don’t have a very large budget and am not opposed to buying used gear as long as it’s been well taken care of.
