Looking to get a new set of cans that will be used for PC gaming, and music. My current setup is Senn HD650, and Creative Z series sound card. I usually play BF4, and various other FPS games. I am looking for Comfort, I need to be able to wear then for 4-5 hours at a time. Must have punchy bass, and realistic sound. I prefer to have open back, so I can hear the wife when I need to. I am pretty much open to anything that will improve upon what I already have. 1500$ budget

Audio-GD NFB-15.32 DAC/Amp, $255+shipping (my total was $298)
Comes with dual WM8741 DAC chips and a headphone amplifier that easily drives my 600-Ohm headphones.
The 15.32 can also work well with low impedance headphones, like 32-Ohm or 25-Ohm.
Comes with USB/optical/coaxial inputs, connect the optical to your SB-Z.
Should improve audio quality of your headphones over the SB-Z.

Still leaves you with $1200 for headphones, I'll let others help you with that.
I would have suggested Beyerdynamic DT880 Premium 600-Ohm headphones, but those only cost $300.
