dont go for grado sr80's. ppl say that the grados brand has more of an upfront sound signature which is bad for gaming, since u need soundstage for gaming. hd555's maybe? idk how u would like the hd555's for music tho.

The best dynamic gaming headphones - mids, detail, soundstage, bass - are the beyer dt880 2005's. They were down to around $170 on amazon, but i think they have went back up.

People seem to like DT770 and A700 (closed) a lot for gaming and bass.

The DR150 has tight and quite punchy bass (more than the open AD700), but they are definitely not for bassheads. Gaming is just ok with these, not enough soundstage.
