Gaming and Movie headphones

I am close to purchasing another set of cans. I reckon its gonna be one of the grado/allesandro line. While I will be using these primarily for music I was wondering if they are any good for gaming/movies as well. I know people say that the soundstage is nonexistant but is it still possible to get good directional sound happening with the sound being projected into your head rather than around it?

The Beyer DT770/80 is much better suited for Gaming/Movies than Grados. There's lots more bass for those movies, less highs to worry about and the comfort level is much better over a long period of time.
