So, what do you guys think is the Game of the Year for 2008? IMO, hands down, it was Metal Gear Solid 4.

Definitely not. GTAIV. All the way. I've never had so much fun with a game before.

Also, you left out a few very very good games. Far Cry 2 for one, Sins of a Solar Empire as well. And I would definitely rate The World Ends With You as one of my favorite games across ALL platforms.

Worst Pacing in a First-Person Drive.. I Mean, Shooter - Far Cry 2

Worst Second-Half in a Game Cause there Really Wasn't One - Fallout 3

Most Tediously Stretched Out Series of Quick-time Events - Prince of Persia

Most Fun Rehash of Other Games in it's Genre - Dead Space

Game That Was Fun for the Half-Hour I Was Able to Play, But Couldn't Any Longer Cause it's Developer is a Stupid Uncaring Piece of Crap - Silent Hill Homecoming

Most Overrated, Overhyped - Pretty much every high-profile game released this year

Game of the Year - Tie between Persona 3 FES and Persona 4

Those are all fantasy games though, right? Sucks about silent hill... I was a fan of the first two.

Fallout 3 gets my vote - 100+ hours of gameplay, easily, the innovative VATS system, good voice acting and characters, dynamic story, nuclear bombs . . . truly a fantastic game.

Most NPCs who try to kill you for unknown reasons: Far Cry 2

Worst Performance/Computer-horsepower ratio GTA 4

Most vomit inducing: MGS4 (cut scenes to the point of nausea)

Second most vomit inducing Mirror's Edge

Most fun Brawl

only game i really played this year was legend of zelda: twilight princess, but it was awesome.
