This is what happens when you have too much time, a piece of yellow cardboard a pair of scissors, a penknife, blu-tack and DT250 pads

I present to you Grado G-Pads... G for GHETTO

Knowing that a C-pad cost around US$99 per pair and G-pads cost practically next to nothing...

The highs are definitely tamed, not that I have ever claimed that SR60s were piercing and the bass is

The mids are kind of congested since the exposed drivers are very near my ears

I once again submit "definitely" as the most mispelled word in the English language.

i think that's a pretty good ideal and i'm sure larry probably started out with something like this with his cpads. u can always make another out of wood and drill some holes in it to make it ported

*wonders if he should post his "wool socks w/ rubber band" pads*

that looks nice, same visual effect as 414 pads, only moreso

EDIT: and by nice I mean "OFF DA HOOK MY GANGSTAR FRIEND"

Closest Ive seen is to send your cad files into a shop, but then theres an engineering setup charge and minimum buy quantity.

Let me know if you find anything!!.. OK? I for one would like to try a flat pad, that spaces the driver out the same distance as bowls. And coat the outside perimeter of the foam in soft rubber, like the scotch-tape mod.
