FYI -- From their web pages the following was found under the Prophonic IV product FAQ Area:

Do you have a universal fit model?
Currently, the ProPhonic IV is available in a universal fit with 2 options for ear tips-- a triple flanged silicone adapter and a foam adapter. We will be adding a universal fit to the 2X product line soon.

The Prophonics IV uses exactly the same drivers used by the ER4.

Yes, I've heard about the possible availability of an universal fit 2X-S for a while now. It is something worth calling them and asking about. They don't update their website nearly as much as they should. They don't even mention the new cable or the colored earpiece options yet.
