Looking to see if anyone is interested in these. The HD424 is basically a souped-up version of Sennheiser's classic HD414. There's a very good write-up on how the two models compare here:

These are one of my favorite vintage headphones overall. They have a light and airy sound presentation, but manage to have good bass impact as well. These are 2,000 Ohms and while not as difficult to drive as that number may suggest, they do need an headphone out capable of supplying lots of voltage. I would say they are slightly harder to properly drive than an AKG Sextett and noticeably easier to drive than a K340. These are not in perfect shape, there are some scratches on the metal buttons on each cup and there are some minor creases present on the pads (however, this does not affect their comfort or sound in any way). I'll let these go for SOLD shipped CONUS, I'll cover the paypal fees.
