Up for sale today is my NorthStar DAC...I brought it across from the US, shipping was quite cheap, so I should be able to send it back to that part of the world with ease. I'm selling due to the lack of synergy with my amplifier...I need something a little more cold to go with the tubes.
It's a legendary DAC in great condition, however, there is a little chip on the top of the faceplate, which is hard to photograph due to the finish of the product. If anyone is interested I can send them photos.
"This is an exceptional DAC that I greatly preferred to all the popular "studio" DACs. Unlike those DACs the Northstar uses a fully discrete MOSFET output stage. It has upsampling that can be turned on or off. It can accept 24 bit/ 192 KHz signal for high resolution playback- like digital downloads or high res needle drops. I used it with 24 bit/ 96 KHz needle drops and it performed exceptionally. Original retail price of $2500."
Price is:$800USD + shipping
Regards,
Justin.
