SOLD to sandbasser

----------------------------------------------

I do not have photos at the moment – I will get them up shortly.

I purchased the MS1000 from here (no longer have Beyer headband):
http://www.head-fi.org/forums/f10/fs...s-sold-431609/

This MS1000 is built to current specs:
http://www.head-fi.org/forums/f4/ale...arning-323271/

The reason for selling is that the MS1000 just does not really get much use when I prefer the AD900. Also, I find my MS1000 to lose too much bass “energy/impact” with the standard mod. Also, please refer to my posts in the MS1000 mod for my impressions on the mod.

The distancers were attached with epoxy adhesive, so I am afraid removing the distancers cannot easily be done (if at all without damage). I prefer the headphones with the distancers/felt mod, so it has never been a concern to remove the distancers.

The MS1000 will also come with the standard bowls I received in the transaction with fatmaneatschild. In case you did not know – the standard bowls can also be attached to the distancer just like the GS1000 bowls. However the MS1000’s significant soundstage can only be achieved with the GS1000 bowls. Also, the standard bowls I refer to are not the stock pads that come with a new MS1. The bowls I refer to are the type you get on the higher models (fatmaneatschild must have purchased these separately), which is supposed to sound better (I have not heard both the bowls and stock pads of MS1 so I cannot give opinion).

I am asking for $140 shipped in the CONUS. The headphone currently resides in a smoke free home, but not free of pets (Yorkie). I make priority to sell to Head-Fiers with established acceptable feedback. Currently would prefer to deal with CONUS buyers, but can make exceptions depending on the person’s feedback and renegotiation of shipping charges.

-----------------------

I forgot to mention that the distancers and foam mods were provided by Head-Fi member apatN, which are to current spec.

I also forgot to mention that they are 1/8" terminated.

I need to clarify that these will come with the two sets of bowls: standard and GS1000 bowls.

I also forgot to mention I have feedback on Head-Fi, eBay, and maintain an account on Amazon.

Sorry about the wait on pictures. I took some pictures yesterday, and when I tried to upload to the computer - the computer would not recognize the memory card (I think that is what is happening). I tried hooking up the memory card via a USB card reader as well, but my computer is still not detecting any device... I tried this on two different laptops without any luck. I believe it is an issue with memory card, and so I will have to buy another today.
I could also take pics with the MacBook web cam, but that wouldn't do them justice. I had taken care of taking detailed pictures of the distancers and grills, but I doubt they would be done justice by the MacBook camera. If you are simply interested in seeing a picture for proof of ownership, then I can take one with the Mac camera. However, I am positive all are rather interested in the condition/mods, which would really best be provided by my other camera. Sorry about the wait. I might try some webcam pics now just as a courtesy in the meantime.

And thank you Alex.

I forgot to mention in my original post that the distancers and foam mods were provided by Head-Fi member apatN, which are to current spec.

I also forgot to mention that they are 1/8" terminated.
