For sale: a maxed-out Pimeta from Headsave with accessories. It's in perfect condition and has had about 200 hours of use.

This is a high-end Pimeta most suitable for use as a home amp - but included is an external battery case in a mint tin which holds two 9V batteries so it can be used "transportably". NiMh batteries give about five hours of operation.

This Pimeta has good components, 2x stacked buffers, and both mini and RCA inputs.

The package is:
- Pimeta
- Jaycar 24V/1Amp regulated Australian power supply
- external battery case in a mint tin
- 2x new quality NiMh 9V batteries

A$380 delivered in Australia for the lot.

I will consider seperating or selling overseas.

The specs:
AD 8620 op amp, L & R (socketed)
AD 8610 op amp, ground channel (socketed)
6xBUF 634 buffers (socketed)
4xElna Cerafine 470uF 25v ps caps
Vishay/Dale 1% metal film resistors (hand matched to .1%)
Wima 4.7uF reservoir caps
Kemet 10pF ceramic C6 cap
JFET Cascode class "A" bias
R11 resistors to optimize buffer bandwidth
Cardas RCA input jacks
Mini input jack
Neutrik ¼" locking headphone jack
Alps Blue Velvet 50k potentiometer
Machined black aluminum knob, Red LED

The Jaycar supply is the one recommended by Norm from Headsave.

I haven't heard a Pimeta with any other power supplies to compare, but this one seems to do the job. There's certainly no noise or hum with it.
