LH Labs Geek Pulse Xfi balanced headphone amp/preamp with matching LPS4 power supply. The Xfi offers balanced and single-ended outputs, as well as two headphone outputs, making it a versatile preamp for an all-digital system solution. The LPS4 can power up to four products (for example, it will power a Raspberry Pi 4 along with the Xfi -- I've wired up a 12v-to5v voltage buck regulator and USB C cable for it, which I'll include), as well as providing clean USB power.

Or, to put it another way, sounds better, does more, than a used Benchmark DAC1, costs less.

Perfect working order. A couple minor scratches shown in photos. Shipping to US Paypal confirmed addresses only. Shipping and Paypal charges included at the asking price.

bump, and now I've wired up a 12v-to-5v voltage regulator for USB C power from the LPS4 12v output (the LPS4 has four 12v outputs, so you've got a few extras!). Runs my Raspberry Pi 4 with HiFiBerry DAC+ HAT streamer like a charm. :) I've also got 3 more Molex connectors that I'll throw in, so you can wire up whatever you like in the future.

Darn it I was hoping I could use this as just an amp as my sources are set. Great kit you have here. I hope you sell it soon.

But wait, there's more! I'll make it a Roon endpoint for you (and Spotify Connect and Airplay, all thanks to Ropieee) for an extra $50 (basically, my cost of a Raspberry Pi 4 and case), plus I'll throw in the LH Labs Lightspeed 1G USB cable gratis. The Raspberry Pi gets clean power from the LPS4, thanks to the 12v-to-5v connector I've wired up. I've tested it and it works like charm. I wrote up the full story of the 12v-to-5v USB C connection here, for those who want more details.

tl;dr: You get
  • a high-power, flexible DAC/headamp (4 digital inputs, balanced and single-ended outputs with multiple gain settings, preamp capability);
  • digital streamer (Roon, AirPlay, Spotify, DLNA, via Ethernet or WiFi) and LH Labs Lightspeed 1G USB cable; and
  • ultra low-noise linear power supply to power it all
for $425 delivered (CONUS shipping included).

Hard to find anything with all these features for the same money, no? :)

PS Sennheisers not included. :wink:
