Leather and carbon - look at the pictures:
Manufaktur DT 880  600 ohm version
 
I just replaced the drivers with new 600 ohm drivers (few days ago).
Drivers alone cost 170$
 
Replacement leather ear pads included.

These look fantastically well done. If I had the money, I would definitely consider these. Just out of curiosity, what does the carbon and leather do to the sound? Also, do the Manufaktur's come with a detachable cable?

Not sure what carbon and steel does to the sound as this is the only 880 I have
It sure sounds great.

Real carbon fiber would cost a lot more than the $15 or so they add to the cost of the Manufaktur. The leather will make a big difference in the bass response and mids
 
They look great and that is a good deal for a Manufaktur with the pads and new drivers. Good luck with the sale!
