Elex pads are hard to come by — good match w/ Utopia if you want to ‘calm’ them down a bit without losing too much ‘Utopia magic’.

Actually just purchased a pair of Stellia from someone but they are coming with damaged pads that he recommends should be replaced.

People weren't kidding that focal pads are expensive to replace and figured the Elex pads would work.

Oh ... you do not want to put Elex pads on the Stellia ...

Not going to lie, I am new to the audiophile world (a month really) and have no idea what the graph is showing.

Putting Elex pads on the Stellia will drop bass levels so much that they'll sound like anemic trash. It's a non-starter. Elegia pads, if you can get them, are a possibility. But despite Focal's pads being pricey, the Stellia are worth running with their stock pads. I wouldn't do them any other way.

I see, that is quite disappointing. I appreciate you letting me know. Do you know if Dekoni pads are not worthwhile on the Stellia also? Not looking forward to spending $250 on some Stellia pads but if it a must to get the best out of them then it can't be avoided.

I've no experience with Dekoni pads for Focal at all, sorry.

They're great guys; had a lot of fun with them at CanJam @ RMAF 2018 ... but can't advise in this case.

Beyond saying that the Stellia with their stock pads are in my Top 2 closed-back headphones. It's worth it to get the stock pads.
