SOLDThis is a unique headphone produced by Precide in Switzerland. It uses the Heil Air Motion transformer, normally seen as a tweeter in high-end speakers. This actually replaced the Jecklin Float as Precide's flagship headphone. Information links:

I'm including the Ergo AMT headphone, AMT-1 amp, and the Ergo transformer, which allows the headphone to be driven by any speaker amp. The amp has a 1/4 inch jack to drive other dynamic headphones. I don't think the transformer is available at all anymore, and the current US retail price for the headphone and amp is $1500. (You use either the amp or the transformer, not both). The power supply for the amp is 120 v.

Price in the US is $750 (includes shipping).

Note, the foam stop on one side of the headphone is slightly compressed (see picture). This doesn't really affect anything, but I'm mentioning it for the sake of complete disclosure.

Note 2, I'm throwing in a short (2 foot) pair of QED 25th Anniversary speaker cables to hook the transformer to a power amp.SOLD

Putting this up for sale at the same time someone else is selling a W2002 is an exercise in opposites...

Bump.

Rare high-end headphone system ready to plug into a power amp or directly to a source.

Reasonable offers or interesting trades will be considered.
