Got these for portable use, but decided that I wanted to try something less laid-back than my HD580s. They've only had about 50-75 hours of use (not sure of the exact number) and look the part.
There are a few surface scratches on both cups. Neither of these scratches is actually deep enough to really qualify as what I think of as a scratch, they're just light marks on the plastic (they look kind of like someone drew on it with a pencil that didn't leave marks very well at all). There are also five very light (just enough to actually be scratches, but not enough for you to see them if you're not looking), perfectly circular scratches on the left cup. I have no idea if these are part of the design or what. All in all, I'd say an 8/10 on the Audiogon scale (on the conservative side). I have no way of hosting photos, but I'm unsure as to whether or not this cheap camera could take good enough pictures to show the scratches.
Smoke-free, but I do have a dog, and he's been known to go on the same couch that these have been used on (while lying down). If you're allergic to dogs, that could be a problem. Coiled cord (pretty sure all the 250s have these), original box, and 1/4" adapter. Not sure how much to ask.. how about $120US shipped to the 48?
