Like new Beyerdynamic dt250-250. $130 including shipping. OBO.

I've got too many headphones I never use. So I'm selling this great can. It's physically identical to dt250-80, but uses the same 250 ohm drivers as the dt931, dt770 etc.
You will need an amp to drive these properly. But if you do use an amp they're alot better than the dt250-80.
They're in the original box, and have about 50 hours on them.

Apologies for the thread-crap, but I'm always amazed when people try to say this. I mean, the drivers for the DT770s physically would not fit inside the 250's cups! Nevermind sound differences between the various Beyers....

Have you actually seen the driver inside the dt770?
I just measured a driver in my dt990's which I'm 100% sure are the same drivers as in the dt770, it's 45mm in diameter. It will fit.

Now that I'm trying to recall where I read that the drivers are the same I can't remember. I'm very sure they're the same driver though.

Ok, I had to do it. I checked the driver in the dt250-250, it is indeed the same driver as in all the other Beyer 250 ohm cans.
The difference is the 'grid', 'plate' 'mesh' or whatever it's called around the driver, it's obviously larger in the larger cans.
Cool.
