I bought these headphones about a year ago and have enjoyed them greatly, but I've just upgraded to some lovely dt770s, so the akgs won't be getting so much use any more. They're in terrific condition; they have been quarter-modded, the cable has been shortened to 6 ft, and the 1/8" plug has been replaced with a sturdier one. Will ship to the CONUS, though not in the original box. 1/8" to 1/4" plug adapter included. These have had about 150 hours of use and have served me very well.

Asking price: $70

how do you quarter mod a k240s and what does it do?

I cut a hole about the size of a quarter in the center of each of the foam pads covering the drivers. I found that it opened up the sound a bit, though not drastically.
