Bantam comes with Vishay-Roederstein or Cerafines.
CL & CR are in SIPS so you can switch caps.
Each Bantam: $40 + shipping. Conus/paypall

bantams are long gone, but still have

alien dac w/ blackgates nx bypass with vitamin q's = $85 + shipping. Conus/paypall

mini3 w/ AD high performance opamp & charger = $95 + shipping. Conus/paypall

How do the bantams compare to the alien? Also, how much are you looking for for the mini3? Thanks!

its hard to judge the sound between the two dacs types because of the output capacitors. They influence the sound and the alien dac's caps are soldered on the board. That being said, the alien dac to me sounds a little better because the caps are black gates bypassed with vitamin q caps. Its abit lush, full and organic sounding. The cerafines on the bantam also give this type of sound, esp when also bypass with vitamin q's. The visnay gives a more fast, toe tapping sound. I would believe they may sound very similar with the same cap.

The mini3 is $95 + shipping/paypal, comes with the power adapter/charger. Has AD high performance opamp and gain of 2 or 3, cant remember atm but it was lower then the default (5).
