****I will accept payment via PayPal. I am only interested in shipping this to someone with a PayPal confirmed UNITED STATES address. I’m sorry, I simply do not want to deal with international shipping, and I will not ship to an address that is not tied to your PayPal account (e.g. a package forwarder) ****

-------------

I “found” this 1st Gen Meridian Explorer recently in a box in a desk drawer. I hadn’t used it in quite some time. This easily has less than 200 hours on it. I originally purchased/pre-ordered from TTVJ, and the first run had an issue with unduly high output impedance. All original buyers were put in contact directly with Meridian for updated version with low (less than 2, I believe) output impedance. The one I have is the updated version.

I have used its 3.5mm headphone output as well as it's line-out to a separate amp, but probably 75% of use was with line-out to amp.

Comes as pictured with cable. I do not have the original box. EDIT Oct 10: I found the box & user guide, see pics below.

***I will eat PayPal fees and I will pay for USPS shipping, again, only to PayPal confirmed United States address***

OP edited to show that I found the original double-box and printed user guide, see additional pics.

still looking for a good home; would work nicely for someone looking for an inexpensive gadget to attach to a work station

I can tell I was both away from the hobby for a long time (until a few months ago) + I just didn't pay attention to these types of devices available these days (there are many and varied kit out there, I get it, finally). That said, final price reduction.

If it doesn't sell for $55 all-in for a buyer, not even worth my time to package it up and take to the post office. I'll leave $55 price firm and maybe bump every month or so going forward, just in case someone wants a solidly-made, old school high fi name brand product.
