First, no need to read any further, however this isn't a simple "what should I buy thread", it's more like a branch of choices in a RPG game, live vicariously thru me and decide what I buy as I keep you updated with amateur reviews and add more polls, so what will it be.... Left or Right? please get me there safe 
Also I made a bloodpact (just received the vacuumsealed bloodcontract in the post actually) with @plmon to start the 600 ohm club, so eventually I want a AMP that EVERYONE can use to power 600 ohm headphones, and I think as a newbie it's not to cocky to say I can help this site add more info

Look all the reviews here impress me I could probably bull something based on google searches and semi mirroring what others say with a little sprinkling of big words(not trying to be rude, I am a legit noob trying to add something to this site)
So I COULD get both, but why should I try to figure what people want when I can just let others spend my money, so if I regret buying something I just get mad at someone else instead
This is really for other newbies who may come across it and want to simply know which to buy, or for more experienced ears if they grace me with reading and agreeing with some of my choices to maybe usher them to products they would have otherwise not have bought.
on one hand we have the 6XX vs DT990 600ohm comparison on a super budget system that JUST can get to like 101% volume, schiit magni 3
-next possible choices, 880 600ohm, or more likely some budget headset like hifiman 400i's or Philips SHP9500/x2hr, really whatever is cheap I am trying to do comparisons that haven't been done before
On the other hand we have the BasX A-100 vs Schiit magni 3(with and without "smart amp"), although with the "smart amp" feature (HEDT mobo and hard AF to setup
. ) it's just loud enough, I will see if it actually will make a difference despite being "loud enough" for your DT990's (or DT880's or any other 600 ohm range headset)
-This decision will likely lead me to eventually polling the fabled 880 600ohm to compare to both as a more brother/brother shootout
