I'm curious to know the freq response graph for ms1, I found sr125 graph on headroom, but no luck for ms1.

It's strange that no one has made a grado/alessandro frequency response comparison to see the tweaks alessandro have made.

Excellent point. I would like to see that. I wonder about those graphs sometimes though because according to those graphs the Shure E2cs have more bass than the Grado SR125, and I have the MS-1s and the E2cs and I don't find that to be the case.

Someone should send their MS-1 to HeadRoom so they can measure them. They already have measurements for the SR-125 and their "Build a Graph" page would allow for a direct comparison.

It would be interesting to see the Qualia (and other new Sony headphones) there as well.

Imo it would be quite difficult to get meaningful taste of refinements from similar house sound, e.g. hd 580 vs 600. Phones FR charts could be useful to get a broad view of how certain phones will sound, but with +/- 10dB peaks and dips for ear distance adjustment, minute differences easily got drowned.

Btw if you closely compare the 4 grado charts at headroom above 1.5khz, you'll see that sr60 followed 325's response closer than the rest. SR125 went its own way, while interestingly the most popular one, sr225, have gotten certain dips and peaks 'right' (i.e. like other brands top phones =) with more rolled off extreme high frequency.

Anybody who experienced with all 4 models can make comment to this Grado FR chart comparison ?
